A Premonitory Image of the Corpse-Bird
Pen & Paper 8ins x 6ins £175
This image was drawn prior to any engagement with the spirit-familiar Black Eagle and yet now seems a premonitory depiction of later drawings directly related there-to. In a related sense, I perceive the picture to show the coming-forth of Death's messenger as a magistellus to the Initiate. The Bird of Death emerges from the Body of Night and fleshes through the Ghost-doors of Memory. It shows itself as the servant of the Lady in the Mist, as the Raven whose croaking voice cries out 'Corpse, corpse', prophesying the ebb and flow of life to mortal men. Three successive phases of manifestation are shown: the ghost moves from shimmer to shade to visible form. Two sides of Fortune reside in this picture.Signed by artist using his magical name

Ingression to Manifestation
Pen on paper fixed to card 8ins x 6ins £175 SOLD
This is an early picture from around 1988, depicting a magical process combining persona, projection, sigillation, empowerment, obsession, translation of state and connection to the evoked entity, in this instance, a patron familiar of magical aesthesis . The Obsession of Azoa: the Illumination of Zoa
Pen & paper 8ins x 6ins £175
The energetic complex of line and organic menstrua displays the magical focus of death-in-life. Obsessional vortices of emotive self-entification are re-orientated with sigils for famuli. The presences of the dead - the shades of one's own mortal being - are thus illumined anew as they are empowered and made conscious in the Self-Pantheon of the Sorcerer. Manifestation of Famulus
Pen on folded card 8ins x 6ins £175 SOLD
The body in ritual becomes the primary object, role and space of ritual. The hand in magical aesthesis becomes the ritualist. If bound by cord til devoid of sense and used as a vessel for daimonic evocation, the hand becomes a new thing. The cord loosed permits the magician's senses to commingle with the indwelling daimon and the process of expression may begin. Alongside oneiric inspiration, automatism, obsessional self-projection, sigillation, this technique forms part of the artist-magician's repertoire. The compositions are the shed skins of the process, the actuality of the artistry is the operator, who, in passing through all things, is transformed and is made knowing.
The present image shows a spirit converging on a point in a dream landscape, alongside the convergence of sigils to a point of being. Signed by artist using magical name on border of drawing, title in pencil on reverse
