"A prominent, though rarely seen, member of the Typhonian OTO, Stafford Stone's descent into insanity was charted by the systematic casting away of everything he once held dear. These days he alternates between being a millionaire playboy, haunting the bars and dives of Soho, and a reclusive sorcerer/artist cavorting with succubi in a dingy basement in Southwark. Stone's vast wealth comes from the sale of his art - which he claims to paint 'from life' - to a small, but obscenely perverted coterie of secret collectors.

Tall, charming, handsome and mysterious, with his shaved head and soul-seeking blue eyes, Stone is irresistible to women, yet from Cape Town through to Antwerp, San Francisco and Seattle, Vancouver and Tokyo, all remain too terrified to talk of their experiences with him. His sole dietary intake 'appears' to be Bloody Mary's, and he is only active at night. Rumour has it he can sometimes be found in two entirely separate places at the same time.
